IRRIGATION SYSTEMS

When talking about the well-being of a garden, you can go on and on about the additions that will make it a perfect one, more like the more sugar you add the sweeter it gets. But the basic requirement of any garden is water, it gets thirsty and it needs to drink!

Filling up that rusted water bucket of yours when you can remember it or occasionally leaving the watering pipe in it to flood out is going to do you no good in keeping it fresh and healthy. Every garden needs regular watering a continuous supply of freshwater to keeps it layers green and to be oozing with fresh oxygen. So here are a few DIY irrigation techniques that you can try, which requires the bare minimum effort from you and yet fulfills the needs of your garden.

What We Cover

Our Irrigation Systems Process

Sprinklers may not look like a DIY addition to your yard by the basic looks of it, but you can modify it to cover your entire yard. All you need would be several sprinklers that should cover your entire garden by remaining static, and several pieces of pipes connecting them together. You can dig out the base for the pipes and sprinkler in the ground and cover them up with a layer of grass to keep them hidden from sight. Provide the main connection with a tap for your garden, so whenever you need to water it you will simply just turn the tap on and see the sprinklers water your entire garden.
If you live in an area that receives ample precipitation over the year, collecting the rainwater to water the plants in your garden is probably the healthiest idea. The rainwater is free of the chemicals added to tap water and helps the plants grow in their natural form.

You can connect another extending pipe to the rain gutters of your house with tiny holes at places where your plants are rooted. So whenever it rains, and the pressure buildup, every plant will receive its share of water automatically.
A dripper system can be set easily with an investment of less than £100.
You need to get yourself automated drippers and have them placed over the plants that you want to be watered regularly. Automated drippers have an in-built timer that you can set according to your needs, this eliminates your need for tending to the garden. Whenever the time is right, it will water itself!
